Gray Whale Watching

If you enjoy bicycle rides and are seeking for a great time, while visiting Ensenada, you can be part of this famous Rosarito Ensenada 50 Mile Sun Bicycle Ride. This journey will show you many facets of Ensenada, Rosarito and other vicinities, such as value different pretty sceneries, cross small villages to beautiful views of the pacific coast. This huge ride starts in Rosarito and ends at Ensenada; is held twice a year.

Practicing Tennis in Ensenada

The adjacent Parque Infantil (Children's Park) with a playground and BBQs/tables opens Tues.-Sun. 10am-6pm. There are many close hotels and other services facilities near the Riviera del Pacifico.

Ensenada Hussong's Cantina
The oldest bar in the Californias established in 1892 and a designated historical landmark. Open daily 10am-1am. Av. Ruiz #113. This famous cantina is conveniently located in a crowded well known neighbor, where some nice hotels of Ensenada are located.

Ensenada’s Paseo Calle Primera
The newly remodeled shopping & dining promenade at Ensenada, that sits on Lopez Mateos Ave., from Castillo Ave. to Ryerson Ave. Walk around this colorful shopping district, then relax and enjoy a great meal. Afterwards you can relax and have some drinks on one of its bars or at one of Ensenada hotels.

Ensenada Boulevard Costero
Once a sandy beach, now the coastal route through Ensenada also known as Lazaro Cardenas. View the Riviera del Pacifico and other sights along the palm-lined boulevard from the comfort of a calandria (horse-drawn carriage).

El Malecon at Ensenada
The new boardwalk along the Ensenada downtown waterfront from Azueta to Castillo Ave. Relax and enjoy the view at Parque Ventana al Mar (Window to the Sea Park) with its monumental Mexican flag. Some restaurants and hotels can be found for your convenience close to malecon in Ensenada.

Ensenada Open-Air Fish Market
Northern Baja's largest seafood market with many types of fish and shellfish, plus Ensenada's specialty-fish tacos. On the waterfront malecon.

Plaza Civica at Ensenada
An attractive park on Blvd. Costero & Macheros with giant golden busts of Mexican heroes Benito Juarez, Miguel Hidalgo and Venustiano Carranza. It is locally known as "Three Heads Park”. This is a nice walk to enjoy while visiting Ensenada, which is not only beach and sand.

Chapultepec Hills at Ensenada
A fabulous panoramic view of Ensenada from one of the city's most attractive residential areas. Follow Calle 2 up hill.

Ensenada Statue of Tara & Ecological park
A huge hand painted statue symbolizing Mother Nature, a gift of peace and friendship from a Nepalese cultural organization. Overlooking the city on the original site of the 1930s Fort Keki on Calle 13 between Av. Obregon & Moctezuma. You can reach this interesting point while walking in the streets of Ensenada, maybe stop a for a drink or after enjoying a stay on one of Ensenada hotels.

Parque Revolucion
A lovely park with numerous species of shade trees, a playground and Mother's Monument. Obregon Ave. between Calles 6&7. Another option for fun and relaxing at the same time in Ensenada.

Ensenada’s Flea Markets
Search for trash and treasures at Los Globos, Ensenada's largest outdoor swap meet on Calle 9 three blocks east of Reforma. Open daily, but weekends are best. Ensenada Fela Market is with no doubt another great thing to do while visiting the city; go for some shopping or just walk around to see thousands of unique Mexican and foreign items.

El Mirador at Ensenada
An extraordinary observation spot with panoramic views of Ensenada Bay and Todos Santos Island. At Km. 84 on the Tijuana-Ensenada toll highway, 17 miles north of Ensenada.
